The 1% Answer …

This text was sent to me by a Division 1 All-American golfer I’m humbled to work with. I’m posting it because, instead of feeling sorry for himself after a poor final round, he wanted to learn how to approach it, mentally. While most players would focus on “what if,” he wanted to know NOW WHAT?

I also posted my answer below.

It's Her Way Of Life

Erica’s reppin the 1% Lifestyle! She’s an example of what happens when you stop talking about it, and start living it – waking up every morning, dedicated to separating herself from any and all things average!

If you’re always ready, you won’t have to GET ready!

Your Bad Isn't THAT Bad

The next time you think about quitting because “it’s too hard,” remember this picture!

Struggle defines character – do you have what it takes to battle beyond pain, or will you stop short of your dreams? No more excuses. Stop whining about why it’s too difficult. Create a detailed future visual and commit every ounce of your hunger to not stopping until it manifests!

Shed tears if you have to, scream in frustration if you have to, but NEVER STOP!

Representing Team USA

StoryCummingsBEAST

Meet Story Cummings – center for Team USA!

This kid is a beast, and is totally immersed in the 1% Lifestyle. No one will out work him – there’s no doubt we’ll be reading about him in the future, playing in a huge collegiate program.

Tweet him @StroyCummings. Here’s an example of his mentality: “When everything on your body hurts, but all you can think about is grinding harder, you’re in the right place.”

BOOM!

The 1% Family Leading The Way …

JackPerryfrombehind

Huge congratulations to 1% Family member and Northwestern’s #1 golfer, Jack Perry, for being named All American!!

His physical talent has never been questioned, but he’s now committed to the 1% Lifestyle and the sacrifices needed to take it past “really good” status – he’s now reached “great,” but isn’t satisfied. In a recent text, he said, “I was named All American, which is cool, but I WILL do better!” THAT’S the 1% Mindset – never settling!

His long term guarantees include winning multiple Majors on the PGA Tour. He’s not just hoping to make it on Tour, he wants to break records. Most would say that’s too high of an expectation … we say it’s already done … all that’s left is to show the world what it looks like!

His 1% Mindset Dominates

SamTowler

Congratulations to 18 year old, Sam Towler, for making it through Regional Qualifying for the 2013 British Open. He’s on his way to the open qualifying round, where WHEN he makes it, will be playing with the big boys at Murfield.

I’ve been blessed to be able to work with him this year, helping him become immersed in the 1% Lifestyle. Sam resides in the UK, but has committed to play his collegiate golf in the States, at Georgia Southern. He’s a sponge, mature beyond his years, and will be a regular on the PGA Leaderboards in the future. I’ll be making a more detailed highlight video of his progress soon.

Pay Full Price …

Coupons

Too many people are looking for a break, a discount, or shortcut.

There aren’t any coupons on your way to the top – you must pay full price. Sacrifice the max, punch fear in the face as hard as you can, and stare your future in the eyes. What WILL you achieve?

NO EXCUSES!

2nd Place … AGAIN?

PhilUsOpen

6 runner-ups at the US Open isn’t a coincidence, it’s a pattern!

I won’t pretend to know Phil Mickelson from the inside-out, but I do know he’s a gambler, loving the adrenalin high that comes from defying the odds. The 1% Mindset is built on the foundation of doing what the majority are too afraid to do, but it’s also immersed in complete discipline and control.

Champions from all arenas know when to crank it into 6th gear and when to downshift into 4th. Talent isn’t enough … winning is an art form!
